They are slowly getting there, doing the front two first as i already have tyres for them then ill fit them and see what archwork is needed. This paint goes on lovely (for rattle cans) But its drying strangely, although as i said it was the first coat.

i could easily go out and spend £1000 on a set of wheels, catch a kerb, or have them stolen, get a puncture and ruin the rim,,, and for what? people to say ''your car is cool'' haha

steve, the paint will be drying funny due to them being outside. its too cold really for painting. the paint will absorb moisture from the air. is poss spray them outside, then bring them into the warm to dry.

is the battery cause youve been adding a positive charge to paint and negative to the wheels to get a nice even coat? :p

After ups and downs with the car I've finally sourced a gearbox and shes getting fixed so I wont get rid just yet. The rear wheels are getting their first coat tomorrow and the tyres and archwork will be done within the next few weeks. I dont like having unfinished projects but with problems with finances this year (having an expensive Mrs) have caused a few hiccups.

Hey man, looking good. When you had the tyres put on, did it spoil the wheels?

Archwork will be as soon as I sell the two 19" Tyres I've got (see for sale section) then I can buy the two rear 185 45's and then I'll get the arches flaired so I can get stupidly low and it's gonna go as low as possible

Surprisingly not actually and it's not a brilliant DIY job, but it's not lacquered so I can just mask up the Tyres and spray away.

Colour coded door handles now ordered and led's and 16v front bumper coming before it goes in the bodyshop

Few pics from a very long day but the new gearbox and clutch are in and it runs smooth, just got to put the backbox on tomorrow.
