GTI 6N2 HEADLAMPS

ok basicaly my head lamps are f**ked the 4 manual adjusters have been snapped by prev owner and my car has fail M.O.T because of it..

i have removed the lenses from the units but I'm led to belive there not ment to come apart and are sold as a sealed unit for £185 per item

as you can imagine i want to avoid this cost as i have only owned the car a month and for the sake of 4 manual adjuster seems a heavy price to pay,

so...... is there a cheaper option ? maybe the adjusters on a 6N2 non gti are the same ? and the headlamps are cheaper ?

could i get 6n2 non gti lights take out the internal bits and use my gti ones with the adjusters ?

any help would be greatly appreciated as my retest lasts until thursday
