I've put a Square front plate on but i still need to get rid of the Number plate holes and also the recess

I need to find out what Manifold will fit the 1.4 8v will a GTi fit?

I've also been locking for a manifold for my 6n2 1.4 8v but have had no luck so far.

i was thinking exhaust wrap/tape

It's a flexipipe.

There isn't really a temp fix as it will drop off sooner or later.

Unless you let it blow and simply jubilee clip a sliced open coke can over it which will keep it hanging up but that's about it.

If you don't want to replace the cat, just buy a weld in or even clamp on replacement flexi off the bay and pay some exhaust pikeys to fit it.

The thing is i've got a brand new cat waiting to be fitted but in it's life someone has welded the manifold to the cat so i need to find a manifold do any other polo manifolds fit the 6n2 1.4 8v?

This happened to mine this week just gone! although mines only a 1.0L.

My local euro car parts dealer has a contact with a company who sells replacement flex pipes for exhausts, mine only cost £15.

I know the plates aren't legal but it's had a Mot with them on and i've not been stopped so it's all good^^

Update;

I've de-stickered it and gave it a good clean

I've also replaced the top mounts and bearing and had my rear hubs done and replaced the Lambda's

Oh on a downer though snapped a wheel bolt now a new

front hub is on the way!

Been a while since i Updated not many changes

I've got some smaller tyres 185/50/14

I've also lowered the front ALOT

i haven't managed to lower rear as it's seized like a mother bitch

I've replaced the Centre Silencer with a straight through
