Here we have my saxo. Its not perfect but mechanically the engine and box are solid as a rock

Good Bits

Its red. red is rare in vtr's

Low milage at less than 74,000

the engine and box are really nice its the ightest gearbox on a vtr I've ever known.

the body is tatty but solid. no rot. Took it to manic motors and chris commentedon how nice a car it was and with a little bit of tiying of the plastic bodykit it would be perfect.

no rot in the boot where all saxos see to go.

oh and i got a quick shift fitted but tbh its not alot different.

bad bits

driverside lock is a bit stiff at times

the immobiliser has been disconnected befor i got it as the remote fobs broke so now it doesnt have remote central locking but the immobiliser light sometimes flashes.

the body work altho solid is not great. I've got the worst bits in photos but ontop of that front driverside arch which some moron has fitted with white silocen the near side rear quater molding and sill cover arent attatched correctly but i didnt even notice this till a couple of weeks ago. The bonnet is also dented, it looks like someone has sat/stood on i then beat out the dent.

i also think the front near side bearing needs replacing as it makes a slight knocking and a few people have now told me it sounds like what they havehad when it was the bearing.

its had the driveshft and wishbone done on that side not long ago so it wont be them.

its been doing it for about 6 weeks now and its got no worse and i drive about 40 mles a day.

Overall its a realy good car and has been reliable when using it every day. i would be keeping it but i really want RWD so if anyone wants to swap/px i could be tempted.

Just looked on ebay and i tink £700 seems to be pretty cheap for it.
