Good shout, i never planned to get my Comps, they were on my MK2 Golf which set on fire, so had them lying about. I was going to get some borbet T's or RSL cults.. OZ turbos are awesome too.

om nt too sure which way so go tbh...

anyways coilovers will be my first shout!

So, sold my wheels, and my Golf so have a little bit of cash to play with..

as of yesterday, my car is looking like this...

until i get my new rims on saturday... awaiting update!

Mwahaha. I have spent far too much money today. Lol.

So i woke up at half 6, left at 7 with Old Man G, and got to Swindon for 8:15. Waited about 10 mins and the guys pulled up. Really sound guys, telling me about there huge Jap scene which was cool.

As you may / may not know: OZ TURBOS 7.5" all round with 165/55/15 on the rear and new 165/50/15 on the front.

Anyways, got them home, and they were in need of a dire polish. (not po-lish, polish). AND 2 new tyres as the front two were literally bare, so went staright into town to get some 165/50's for the front two, and only found one set. I'm getting those back tomorrow, hopefully stretched and done. Expensive mind :/

So the guy gave me some insanely good Polisher...

And as you can see the dishes had some stains on them...

So i got to work, half done and half not done...

Mid clean...

These are the rear wheels, 7.5 running 165/55/15...

So then i thought i'd quickly wack them both on one side of the car (these are meant to be both the rear wheels)

I was happy how the rear actually sat, quite flush and room to go lower, due to the stretch..

Although, (it may not seem it), but the fronts were tucking quite a bit, which i wasn't feeling.. so i bought some 15mm hubcentric spacers...

Which made it look a bit fatter and a lot better 'flushnous' if i want to go lower...

Soo mee hope you like them, any thoughts?

nice man, just think your gonna need better tyres as they dont do the wheels justice.

165-50 bridgestone potenzas look and stretch so well. maybe spacing the rears out as well to match the front. or put the 15mm on the rear and space the front 10 or 12mm

I have got 165/50 potenzas for the front dude! just getting them fitted today!

So i have some new pictures that i took quickly yesterday... Still not over the moon with the ride height, needs to come down a bit more imo! But here's some pictures finally with the wheels on the car and new GTI Splitter.

I still need to get that stubby aerial.

Thanks Indy, slowly but surely coming a long. I think i have a stubby aerial i can have, but i'll let you know if any different!

You can usually pick a good on off of forums for about 2500 with around 60,000 miles on it. But i got mine in desperate need of a car, so i bought it from a local dealer, with 40,000 miles on it for 2.7K..

@demolover - Thats cool man, i have ad mixed comments about the wheels, but each to their own! I just prefer having the turbos, because everyone in there mums has TH monos now, just something a little different! :)

Fair point. Never good to have a car that is exactly the same as everyone elses. Always fancied seeing some colour coded monos on a white car after seeing chrispys colour coded white BBS.

Don't get me wrong it still looks sick

Yeh colour coded mono's would be awesome! My interior is grey and black, so i wanted to keep the wheels and anything else i decide to colour code, silver. or graphite. Hence why i wasn't going to colour code the mono's, i guess it's just me not having the balls to have white wheels on a white car!

If i was ever going to spray the roof it would be an Audi graphite grey, or hi-gloss silver. :) Cheers man
