So had my first show in the car at Plymouth Volksfest and it went down really well, met some cool people and had some good comments. Here's just 2 pictures..

Woa! Cheers man.

Just need a stubby now, and some bits tidied up here and there. Re-trim needs to be done also.

Man this looks so so good.

The white/black combo is so clean. Looks perfect IMO, roof rack really suits it as well. Quality job!

Cheers guys, glad you like the white / black thing going on. :) running out of things to do now..

Maybe to trim dash and head lining, engine perhaps..?

black white theme works really well i think especially being white with too much smoothing you can lose the lines of the car!

glad the bumpers haven't been smoothed or colour coded :D

so much love for this! 8-)

Looks awesome in the rolling shot!

Really like what you've done so far, some interior trimming next sounds good :)

Cheers guys, appreciate the comments!

Howler: I tried to man up and go that extra bit lower... I took the spacers out and and wound the coilies all the way down.. but it started to crush my ARB and also my driveshaft was knocking hella lot. Although it looked 1 million times better... i guess i need to notch my chasis legs and cut out the anti roll bar then we can go loww. This is what it looked like, although it would be sat lower if the driveshaft wasnt on the chasis leg...

Also, tinted my headlights.. still in two minds to wether or not i like it... moody?

thoughts?

Edited by Matt.G

i think it sits well how it is anyway in all honesty, you dont have to be millimetres between arch and wheel to have a nice sitting car imo

not a fan of them headlights tho mate :-( kinda takes away the really clean and simple look you have going on!

Yeh i see your point, i desperately need some new headlights. It was going free so thought i'd take it on!! its easy to take off so it'll be coming off shortly ;)

i took that hideous fly eye off, and also sprayed my rear view mirror black..

Masked it up..

Cut the edges off to make it neat...

Taken the 15mm spacers out the front and put the 5mm ones in. Lower now, and sitting better imo :)
