Trying to find a front strut brace now.

Oh and what some 14" wide wheels (around 7s-9s) to create some stretch with and go even lower.

What you think.

If you start a thread, with your car and keep it updated then you can get help with any problems easy.

With the springs and shock, post a new topic for help and i will have a look asap.

Pete.

Thanks Pete, I wanted to wait till I had a chance to clean the car and take some proper snaps but I've started a thread some crappy phone pics today ;)

Picked up some BBS e30 Cross-Spoke alloy wheels today and thinking of giving them a quick refurb.

Polished lips with black centers.

14x6.5 et30, need some tyres tho. Anyone got any 175/50, 185/50 or 195/45?

Thanks.

Pete.

cars looking sweet mate!

was looking at the JOM coilovers myself, for around £200.

i know you just said above that they were okay for the money, but if you had a choice again would you get better ones?

one of my friends said they were a terrible idea, and that i'd need to spend at least £400, to even get a decent set.

how are the JOM's doing? cheers Jack :-o

To be honest I would probally buy them again as I'm not to bothered about the ride comfort, its not too bad tho. If you wanted a good ride then get some FK coilovers or something in that price range.

Thanks.

looking cool man

what's the ET of the cups?

they're obv 195/45/15's on 15x7s?

  • Author

Yep, your right on that, Et37.

Got some 165 50s to go on when the weather improves.

where you get them alloys? and how much can you get a set for roughly?

Thanks.

  • Author

Well for a bad set you'd be looking around £200-£250 probally. About £350-£450 for a decent set.

Dont think you can buy them new anymore, few set around.

Couple for sale on the forum and maybe some on eBay.uk, probally get some on eBay.de.

Pete.

Where abouts in Derby are you mate? Polo looks smart !! Got many plans lined up?
