Cars looking real nice mate! I'm liking the look of bonnet bras but not 100% sure on them... Sucks on the damage you got on your screen! Was it expensive to replace?

Where did you get your angel eyes from? Just a breaking project?

Thanks mate. Was £70 excess without tinting, still need to get that done.

Got my angels from ebay £80 posted brand new, bargin. Some one had brought them then sold the car so never fitted them and started them at 99p. Not got them any more tho, have my standard lights with HIDs.

Brought some 25mm spacers making the offset for the rears from +37mm to +12mm. Below are some phots with the spacers fitted.

Only problem is theres major scuffing, so the spacers are back off for now until I get my camber shims. With 195/45/15 and the 1.5 camber shims should bring the wheels in about 5.5mm giving enought room to avoid so much scrubbing.

What you think?

Anyone know where in or around Derby can roll arches?

Thanks,

Pete.

Just another photo with the 25mms on the rear.

Have found a mate of a mate willing to roll the arches if I wanted them done :)

Waiting until payday to get my shims.

20mm spacers.... done ;)

Prox was selling some 15mm stub axle spacers.....

May have too depending on how much I can get away with once shims are fitted.

Would go for 20mm tho not 15mm.

Pete.

shims wont make a huge difference mate, more stretch and a little bit of flaring on the arches will fix that for you

As in earlier post I worked out that the shims would bring the wheel in about 5-6mm with the rolling this should give enough room for less scrubbage.

Got myself some early birthday presents.

2 more 25mm spaces (not sure why but they were a bargin), momo boss kit (airbag) and some more coilovers (at another bargin price). Gotta love eBay ;)

JOM coilovers will be up for sale soon, possibly on eBay.

Will let you all know.

New coilovers fitted, much better ride as in not resting on my bump stops.

Looks awesome, about the same poke as me without camber there, I got some camber shims for mine and it did cause some massive tyre wear but once they were tucked in it looked the shit and was drivable!

I have the same tyres as you and very similar stretch, took about a month to lose about 1mm / 1.5mm tread on one side, but i did have about 2 degree camber.. Just a word of warning!

  • Author

Cheers for the warning mate.

Pete.

Needs more stretch really, Or roll the arches lot, Camber wont help a great deal.

They 14's?

  • Author

They are 15s mate. Have been looking for some wide 14s for a while now mate, the right set just hasnt turned up yet.

Just another quick update.

Decided it was finally time to fit my spoiler. So after drilling two holes, using a lot of sealent and some f-ing and blinding this is the results.
