Bike carb Inlet Manifolds for AFH

Featured Replies

I just made one of these today for Mr GrungeisYousaf for his AFH converted mk2. He kindly gave me a template to use, so I am now able to make them to order for this engine. If anyone is interested please drop us a PM. This one was to suit CBR600 carbs, but pretty much any carb setup can be made for, let me know what you need :-) Once again I currently have enough material for about 3 or 4 more.

Saf also took some pics of me in action lol

And here it is fitted to his engine;

Due to the work needed to get the ports the correct shape for this engine, I'm asking £100 plus postage. They are made from mild steel.

Cheers,

Arun

Yeah dude they are port matched, I was rushing to get it done before it got dark so didnt have time to get pics of the ports.

Thanks guys :)

these are top notch i can vouch for this as i bought one for my gt DSCF0711.jpg

can you tap each port for vacuum for my dizzy (3mm ID), and have a port for my brake servo (10mm ID)? might be easier to get you to just make me a new one instead of modifying the one i've got.

cheers

Hey dude, I'm still struggling to find sutable pipe for the dizzy take off  and I don't have a tap and die set. Brake servo take off is no probs, I already have the pipe needed for that. If I can find some pipe I'm happy to sort your existing manifold, I'll let you know. But if your dead set on a complete new one then thats fine too.

yeah, no worries mate. i'm easy either way. my current manifold has got the vac for the brake servo already. I'm running without vac advance for now, but would like to get it sorted at some point.

Hi, will these fit my 1974 plymouth barracuda? or do they need modding?

Cheers

N

yer its spot on mate i did little modifying to match the ports only cos i over bored them when i ported and polished the head but pulled real hard on the rolling road and produced 90bhp at the fly wheel not bad to say its suposed to be 75bhp standard ;)

thanks alot for making it mate

i like the way you've tacked it onto that piece of box section to stop the heat from warping it. nice idea

I've got exactly the same question as Ben! How much would a manifold be for a set of CBR600 carbs on a GT? Cheers mate.

To ensure perfect fitment I'm having flanges water cut this week for both the 1.0/1.3 and AFH engines, and I am available once again to start making these manifolds. If anyone is interested in a manifold to their spec, drop us a PM :)

As of tomorrow I will be set up to make these manifolds in stainless or alloy, please get in touch if you're interested. Price is yet to be confirmed but I expect it to be around £150 :) They will be TIG welded.
