if its fun your after get a gt and drive the roads off n.wales, my recomendation bala to harlech round the big dam, or dogellau to welshpool road make sure you wear protection tho as you may go splat either in your pants or off the road if your to confident lol

I am still in two minds about the diesel/boring against petrol/fun. I think I might get a clio and see how it goes, worst comes to worst I'll sell it and will have had some fun in the mean time.

As much as I like them, the leon cupra's are £££, at least 6k for one that's even half decent, I'd rather get a cheaper car and pay for the petrol!

Trust me the fabia handles with very few mods and goes like stink - £200 remap = 185bhp & 343lb/ft of torque! Quicker in 4th from 50-70 than a 911!

I have Bilstein springs and shocks and a whiteline rear ARB - handling sorted!

What about an ibiza cupra or leon cupra the PD version?

I have friends with both and they pull like a fooking train!

I ended up getting the Leon!

It's a nice motor, once I started doing the commute I realised how much I needed a big(ger) comfy car with good economy. It's got cruise control and does over 50mpg, + it goes pretty well and handles better than I expected! Glad I got it over the golf though, I went to look at one, they are pretty turd-tastic to look at!

which is great... if your ever cruising down the motor way at 50mph in 4th gear when a 911 strolls up next to you wanting to race you to the speed limit
