VagCom'ing your steering weight

Hi,

I remember a few years ago somebody saying they made the steering on their 9N heavier by using VAGCOM, I know it's possible but I don't have VAGCOM, are there any risks to doing this? And how likely is it that my dealer will do this for free? (possibly not a chance :lol: )

Anybody done this? 9N steering is poo!
