What has happened so far.

Airride kit ordered (should be here next week, fingers crossed) - check

New tyres ordered 165/50/15 - check

Two 30mm adapters for rear - check

Camber shims - check

And also bought myself a set of new valve caps.

So everything's coming together slowly and surely. And roof rack and stickers are gone lol... :)

Update.

I'm not very patient person so before air is in I decided I will put the Pepperpots on anyway. It's with 15mm adapters all around because I haven't got my 30mm adapters yet. Don't know how would I be able to go any lower on the front because inner plastic arch is touching the tyre so there is no gap at all. Unless I could take it out but worried about wings getting all rusty.

Well anyway here is the pictures. Now I'm just waiting for air to go in... :)

The wheels are 15's, 6" all around and ET is 38. Atm there is 15mm adapters all around so final et is 18. Size of the tyres is 165/50. There is pic of tyres on the wheels right o this same page.

In search for new rims :)

New wheels will make this, as much as i like the pepperpots, just aren't on the same level as the airride!

Look forward to seeing what you get though!

I agree with you guys. I bought Pepperpots as temporary wheels before I buy something better. I always liked the way Pepperpots looks on 6n2's so without thinking twice i got them. Yes, I want new set of wheels and yes, i know exactly what wheels I want. But now I want to get bodywork and boot sorted out. Then I guess I will be thinking about new rims :)

Car looks amazing mate! you ever get hassel from the police for having your plate in the windscreen?

Thanks :)

Tbh not really. Twice they pulled beside me whenever I was in the car park just to ask me why is it not on the front bumper. Of course I made up a little story and got away with it. Overall having no hassel from them at all.

how difficult is it to fit the camber shims ? and do they make any difference ?

Haven't fitted them yet. I can't do it myself and haven't found a person who could do it for me. I think it's difficult enough. As much as I've heard from people..only thing they change is handling of the car. Not sure by how much.

There is 30mm adapters on the back now and I really need camber. Anyway will throw a pic of the car in later.

ahh right so they'd have to be done by a mechanic or someone ? .. could you get some pictures of them being fitted when you eventually find somebody to fit them for you pleaseee :)
