Just want to let you guys know that car was stolen and crashed on thursday night. It is fixable and it will be back on the road :(

From what I saw that night it will need new front bags (maybe only one, maybe the ones are on will be fixable), new bumper and GTI splitter, front wheels are wrecked and one of the back ones is touched. Both airbags deployed so will need new dash. Stolen Ipod and headunit. Probs new subframe and radiator will be needed. Hard to tell what damage is done underneath the car.

What happened was the guys that stole it run straight into very high curbe wit car sittin fairly low. As far as I know speed they were doing was pretty fast. So waiting for police to ring me and tell me that I can collect the car and take it home...where it belongs :)

On a happy note...last week i went to my mates and tried on his 13" Alleycats

Could not go any lower because offset on the wheel was too big and no stretch at all. But idea was to see if 13s would look ok on Mk5. What do you guys think... :)

I think it looks better on the 15" as u can sit them nice under the arch ..on the 13" it looks like the bumper is on the floor and there not under the arch at all but then again iv always had a soft spot for allycats on a polo will look sick ether way

I agree, 15s look way better, they fill the sides of the arches better... Just Not cups.. Haha :)

I dont want 15s anymore. I want to go for different size wheels. 13s or 14s. People say they are too small but I was thinkink that airride could pull it off nicely. IMHO poke all around on small wheels is really sexy... :)

Strut is sent away. As it turns out bag itself is fine. Will need need brake discs and pads, wishbone, hub, driveshaft and trackrod end. Getting most of the parts this weekend so its all coming together nicely. I think i decided what wheels I will go for. But till then I will stick on my Pepperpots.
