Berg cup arches need huge wheels though or they just get swallowed. Did you ever see the JDM arches that simmo was flogging some time back?? They would be perfect for the tramonts and cheaper

Yeah well the tramonts are 3 piece and they gota come apart as the centres are lumo pink...:S....9's up front 10's out back????..... Sure that would cure a problem hah... I've been incontact with phil j and I've been on a few german sites and i found a sutable arch kit and front air dam just would need side skirts and rear diffuser...

It's just I have to decided if this is what I want to spend my money on..... As I've had quotes on a 964 and there's just no way on earth I'm gna pay 3500 to Insure a car as I'm only 21...and as my dad says it's only transport from a to b....

Plus my dad a a few of his mates do quite a few track days.... So would be extremely funny to see a little polo up behind a gt3 or Nissan gt-r.....( in the corners anyways hah)

duno prob keep it and use it for this year then get some progress on the polo slowly 1.4 and bike carbs and basics....not rush it then over winter put all out engine in and get it all caged up e.c.t...never know that may even happen before winter if i dont save money..and spend it on other things.

picking up a engine for this saturday...just a 1,3 golf lump with weber and little filter...

il make it all pretty before i fit it and clean the bay..

i found some rust under the passenger headlight..:(

engine was collected today along with its new weber 32/34 dmtl and new dizzy and little air filter

old engine is ready to be lifted out just need a hoist..

shall be claning the bay tomorrow aswell as the new engine

new g60 steels arrived for daily use.....just need some tyres

need a section of the inner wing so trying to find a mk2 polo in a breakers i can cut a section out of unless somone on here is willing to do it and post it....

ordered new 165/50 bridgestone potenza re040 tyres for it yesterday and my dad dropped the rims of earlier...collection them thursday..

Ouch about the rust ! Not somewere you want it to be corroding badly .

New engine looks tidy though mate

yeah a chap on here has kindly cut a section out of his to send me.. ..then i shall weld it in..but you should see the battery tray. ....the repairs are shocking..so il cut all that out a weld a nice new flat section in ans make my own battery mounts :-)

just done a little more on it...

picked up the g60 steels with tyres fitted..:)

ohh...and ordered a 80mm kit..

80mm on 15's..........hmmmm.....may be issues here.....plus side the steels are a low offset.
