if i understand you are running crabs of 600 36mm on 1,6 16V soo what do you think can i put the same size (36mm)on a 1,4 16v?or is better to put some smaller?

Theoretically they're better for the 1.4 than the 1.6,as they run closer to their original spec with that engine.

A well known silver MK2 coupe runs these carbs on that engine,and its maker Max_crox saw 128bhp on this years rolling road day.

Not bad for a 1.4 carb.

I find that running corsas off the road is the easiest way of winning against barry boys and if I crash insurance aint got no beef with any mods as mines standard looking-ish

I have a 1272 mk3 (polo, if i really need to say that on club polo?!)

its running absolutely standard at present, except suspension and rimage soon to run a bike race can (with removeable baffle and a valve to aid back pressure at low speed, not quite exup)

it currently running spi (single point injection) personally, i see no point, carbs or mpi is better, however, thats something i want to change, what carbs do you recomend,? and i understand i will need to do something with the inlet manifold to get carbs on it, do i need to get (or fabricate) a custom one, or could i make use of a mk1 / 2 inlet manifold?

any help will be apreciated!
