I've just become the proud owner of a lovely retro smiths rev counter (with speedo etc. to match) to put into my custom mk2 dash. However, my current mk2 doesnt have a rev counter, so will it be possible to jury rig the new one in? It requires an electrical pulse, so is it as easy as fitting coupe s clocks (for example) and run the wires from the coil? If so, which wires/colorrs from the coil?
