blue/white roof,in good condition mot til jan 11 tax july 10, had full suspension rebuild with bilstein shocks and avo 50mm springs, all rubbers / bushes replaced, starter motor 2 yr ago, recent sachs clutch.brembo discs pagid pads,and brakelines throughout,just had a service using man filters and fusch oil, I have had the vehicle for 3 years, and its never let me down has spares with it.had its injectors rebuilt and also a coolant change.

pics to follow, but there is one in my avatar, it is on colour coded steels now though.also has golf gti steering wheel, a kenwood motorised flip down cd player with matching speakers and also a 1970s old skool medium caravan awning with rooms, curtains the lot :-D and some new laminate flooring for the back.

reluctantly I am selling my vw bay window type 2 pickup 1979, no mot or tax, last taxed in june 09.runs fine, has 47,000 miles on the clock,front cab is mint, as is front panel,and all down the passenger side, just seems to be the drivers side that needs a bit of work, it needs a drivers rear arch, the mudguard at the bottom of the rear arch, and possibly a sill.i have priced the panels up and it will cost no more than £150 in schofields panels.

the passenger side front arch needs a little attention, but there is a brand new genuine vw one supplied with the vehicle.also supplied is a front arch repair panel for the drivers side. the dropsides also need a bit of attention and there are a couple of small holes in the load bed,a weekends work would get it ready for an mot.it has a single drivers and a double passenger seat in brown which are mint as are the door cards.all tyres have 6mm on them, its had a new exhaust as some point, and new plugs and leads, it needs the air filter box fitting.it has a lot of mots with it plus a few agreed value certificates which state £5,500,by the cherished car underwriting agency.they date from 2001-2004. this would be an ideal advertising vehicle for a vw based business or for an enthusiast, my plan was to restore it and mot then try and find a de-mountable tisher body for it to use as a camper, but fate has forced my handlooking for oiro £2k may px for something cheap with tax/mot plus cash my way:(:( pics to follow.
