to anyone here who says its a sin to do this to a car, that this is not what should be done to it, ask youself, is your own car bog standard?

then ask vosa if its a sin to do what he has done to this car and they will say "yes"

after that ask the police if its a sin for him to be driving this car on the road after he's done this and they will say "yes"

then finally ask his insurance if they are even a aware of him doing this, i doubt the answer would be yes as in the eyes of the law this car shouldn't be on the road.

so your argument of "what this lad does with his own car, is his own business" couldn't be any more wrong if you tried. it is all of our business when people like this are pushing up all of our insurance by driving illegally modified cars around with invalid insurance.

besides when some one posts up and asks for opinions on their car that is exactly what they will get. the first thread about this on here started by ratter he did just that, and when people gave their opinions on his work (iirc him smoothing his rear window to his boot lid with filler was a particular talking point ), he chucked his toys out of the pram, stopped posting on here and started taking cheap shots at this site on other sites, yet he asked for peoples opinions? i honestly don't understand that mentality? especially when the car in question is 'rat look' meaning its meant to look shit, so why get upset when some one then points out that it looks shit? surely that is the best compliment you could pay to it?

i don't think this car is all bad, some things i do like and i have said i like, others i don't and i've done the same. i'm not going to only mention the things i like on a car because the owner can't take criticism, if you ask for my opinion don't acted shocked when you get it. if you didn't want opinions then i don't see why you would post some thing up?

ok point taken, its totaly ilegall, and to clear it up I'm not in agreement with driveing it on the road as it is. the point i was trying to make was to those who dont give constructive opinions, who mearly post comments such as "its shit". anyone who was brought up with any bit of manners or common decency will know that if you do not have anything constructive to say, do not say anything atal..

but as for road legal, any car with anysort of modification, depending on the policy is ilegall, yes some people may have certain mods notified to there insurance, but i can garuntee most of people on this have not. and very very few have all modifications notified to there insurance, thus they are not road legal.

I think that the car looks mental just because of the pure crazyness of what's been done to it , ofcourse it's not legal or vosa going to pass it anymore but before he cut it up it was all fine and passed...apparently he's having it tested to determine whether it will just be a show car or whether he can actually drive it on the roads, so time will tell lol.

The exhaust is crazy, i neither like nor hate though...

The arches are fucking stupid and the revos don't even fill them enough. Nothing will fill them properly

And now hes cut the back off..... well, ruined. I'm not a fan of pickup conversions unless its done to a bloody good standard, and not like they have just literally cut the back off and welded a boot in a stupid place.

The white MK2 saloon that was at UD, thats been done well, it looks asif it was meant to be from factory. This just looks like a half arsed attempt at "ooo look at me, I'm shit"

Why people feel the need to hate on clubpolo because certain members don't like things is beyond me. Whenever i go onto polo3 i always see silly little digs at clubpolo... I've pretty much stopped using it now because of the sillyness. Which is a shame because i used to like the forum as it's just MK1-3

yes your dam right, it scares me that he's gonna be driving this thing on the road and if he hit's you, me, another car, or a small child his insurance won't cover the poor bastard he's hit's costs.

it also scares me that people seems to think that 'being different' is an excuse for breaking the law and driving an unroadworthy car, but then i guess i'm not some little sceney bopper so how could i possibly understand that frame of mind. but i digrees, i'm starting to sound like a broken record now with all this repeating myself, although that's mostly due to other people posting the same kind of shit over and over again.
