give it a proper tidy as mentioned above the welds and a good paint job good as in all one solid colour, i quite like it, the bad boy bonnet is cool and what is the bumper off?

Orrrr he didn't build it to fit in by doing what everyone told him to do? Having seen this in the metal I have a greater appreciation of the details and the work thats gone into making this unique car. Not saying I like it, but thats personal taste and I'm not one to force opinions on people. That being said the spacers you've got on the rear are f**king ridiculous lol

i happen to think this car is awsome. i have alot of respect for the guy for building it.

I seriously dont understand the dub scene anymore, "we dont like this dub, we dont like that dub". Its the same with the aircooled scene, anyone who drives a watercooled is a boyracer, I'm 40yrs old have been a vw ENTHUSIAST for 22yrs now & am far from a boyracer, in my opinion we all have the same badge on our cars but still we have to hate, so why the fook drive a dub.

Me personally, I'm sick to death of seeing shiny cars with BBS splitrims, do I rip it or slag what the owner has done to it? No because that is the owners choice & the car does like nice BUT its not MY choice, I like old school, that is my choice. Half the people who are into dubs aint got a clue & here is a for instance for you all.

My wife & I arrive at E38 2011, as we pass the toilets in my Mk3 polo coupe cl there is a pug in front of us(hmmmm e38 VW SHOW) to which a group of lads start hurling abuse, as we drive towards them I see one of the lads look at my car & say, I quote "its probably a FORD" now considering I have a standard grill on the front with a VW badge on it, my words to my wife where, its shows what the vw scene is becoming when they dont know a dub when its driving straight at them.

Give the guy a break, I have seen all of his cars in the flesh except the raddo & I think he has done a cool job, hats off to you RATTA.

Just because I drive a vw doesn't mean I'm not entitled to a opinion, I'm not keen on the car but have pointed out some things I do like about it, are you saying that its fine for me to praise it but I'm not allowed to say what I don't like about it?

Although some thing that I do hate about this car is the fact that it shouldn't legally be driven on the road and any insurance on it will be void in the event of an accident as it hasn't passed the relevant safety tests. So I hold this car and its driver in the same light as I hold young kids driving with undisclosed mods and immigrants driving around with no licence, let's just hope he doesn't hit some one in it for his sake as much as who ever he might hit.

As for the comments at edition, I'm not at all suprized after watching videos taken of this years show.

I've seen worse cars on the road guy! it looks alright legally, only thing id be concerned of is pedestrian protection as theres lots of things to cut you.

but as already been stated- its a car built not to fit in- its against the normal and for that sir i tilt my hat.

Nah Kiz there a major legality's about chopping a car into a pick up, the main one being that you need some form of sva testing but there isn't a class for it so it can't be tested, if it isn't tested then it shouldn't legally be on the road, if it is illegaly used on the road and he hits a car or even worse a pedestrian then his insurance company will tell him bollocks leaving who ever he hit right up shit street.

In times gone by I wouldn't even of given a shit, but watching my insurance steadily rise due to the amount of uninsured drivers its starting to get on my tits a bit
