I agree with charlie though, if you want to be original and do something with your time, take a leaf out of spen's book and build a nice car. He's done all the work himself and not broke the bank, because he's put the time and effort in.

i agree with you with the pepole diss but still use the site as it does seem pretty stupid but i must say i was reading a thread the other day when some one called indy was saying to about persons car that they need to slam it more and get some spacers to stick the wheels out more. I've been looking at some pictures and the majority of mk4 polos is slammed and then debadged and the steel wheels or steffans! then thats it.....end of and they all look the same! it is reall stupid pepole think we share the same opnions lol i compleatly agree but if you look about at a few mk4's youll will actualy see they look similar lol

Maybe so, but that just proves that the 'mk4/6n slammed on small dished wheels' "look" is whats popular at this frame in time. Back when i started coming on here (was porka.net then) you couldnt look at 10 picture threads without 60/70% of them containing a mk3 coupe lowered 60/80mm on ats classics. Its just a case of whats 'in' at certain stages

Sorry but if you think the 'workmanship' on this car is of a high quality then you must have shit in your eyes..

You can try and slate all the Polo's with the same few mods and the scene queens with their trailered cars, but this is a heap of shit. It doesn't look nice, none of the mods serve any purpose, it's not a rat-look car in the slightest, it's different for the sake of being different and it looks ridiculous.

Regardless of what people are saying i think it looks unique *not in a bad way*

There are things i would change (arches) and also make the car a little safer but the work with the aint and lights is outstanding .

I'm not getting into this argument as some of the reasoning from both sides has been ridiculous.

what i will say is i think that as this becomes more and more complete it will look better and better. i do think the arches aren't great, but it was a development of an idea, and if he hadn't done it he would have still wondered. with standard flared or even berg arches i'd drive it. as it is its still a bloody interesting car.
