Been a bit quiet over the last few months mainly due to the fact that the car has been running faultlessly which is extremely nice.

First thing i did was have the brake discs/pads changed up front. New TCA's and top mounts fitted. Had the tracking all done, suspension components/bolts all checked to make sure tight, and the engine timing all rechecked following its headrebuild etc. Also had a poly engine mount fitted to the rear mount. Going to change the other two in the near future but as for just doing one it stops a lot of engine rock. All three will be tight as a drum.

I changed the gear oil out just for the sake of being complete. Changed it to motul gear 300 which was pretty pricey at around £80 but it changes nice and smooth and i know that it is done and can forget about it :-) Whilst i was oily i nipped down to VW and changed the oil and filter so all is nice and fresh.

Nothing has changed regards the styling of the car as i am going for the better than standard and lowered look. I changed the indicators up front to all the standard orange stuff and i love it. Originally only did it due to losing an indicator in a big puddle but now i prefer it anyways :-)

Anyway update needs pics so i gave the thing a quick wipe down:

The car does have a drivers side that is exactly the same as the passengers just the curb made it an awkward photo.

It is well looked after. Problems with cars niggle me too much to ignore them.

The photos were taken on my phone on a VERY bright day. Looks like i have edited them and messed with the contrast and brightness.

As said time and time before, GT perfection right there! I'd love to take her for a sneaky drive

Well after driving round for a month without realising my MOT had run out (idiot) i put the car in for its test......

....without so much of a turn of a spanner it passed first time needing nothing and with no advisory :-)

I also replaced the fuel filter and properly refitted the fuel filter bracket back to the underside of the car as there was a few cable ties helping it stay up before.

Will update with some more pics following a much needed clean (inside and out) this weekend.
