For sale or swap 1999 VW Polo Open Air 6N long MOT and TAX

Featured Replies

Right due to needing something bigger now, I am having to sell my 1999 Polo 6n.

1.4l

MOT till January 2011, for the last MOT it only needed new wiper blades.

TAX till October (I think), but cheap tax bracket.

85k on the clock with a cambelt change at 45k, it comes with a comprehensive amount of paperwork and old MOTS.

Its a black 5 door, open air so comes with the full length electric roof, which is in good conditions although has very small signs of wear in the polo open air usual places, its 100% water proof. Being the 1.4L it hasn't got electric windows or power steering, although it does have electric mirrors, all in working condition.

I have just shelled out for new front tyres, tracking and balancing.

Its a very nippy car, and the only problem I have had is when I ran it out of petrol, but I soon got this sorted out and checked over and its fine, no running issues.

Modicifications:

Lowered coilover suspension

6n2 GTi seats front and back. The backs have the head rests, and the fronts are hight adjustable. I do have the door cards in my garage but these are unfitted.

De-badged grill, although the original is available.

Clear indicators, although the originals is available.

Full red rear lights, although originals available.

Being an 11 year old car is does have signs of wear.

Ideally the driver front door would need to be replaced as the bottom has rusted through it is still water tight it looks a mess though, although the sill is straight.

It has the usual rust patches on the arches although nothing serious. And it has a few spots of laquer peal.

Its been an ideal winter car, whilst my bug has been off the road, but I now need something bigger.

So looking for £950 or would be willing to swap for say a MK3 or MK2 Golf or something kool.

I am based in Norwich, pics to follow this evening.
