well i now have my original block rebuilt with new rings and shells and ready to swap back into the car the week after next :)

plus i have just bought a 13 row Mocal cooler from a lad on here and ordered a headlight loom upgrade kit of gaybay :)

my temperature can rocket sometimes aswell so anything to help it is all good :)

the bushes are fine, corners like its on rails now but i think that was due to the fact my rear tyres were so fucked they had turned into racing slicks :) but no really it does turn in the direction you point it without any wandering etc

I kinda want one, but they aren't cheap. New they are about £200 for a kit.

Guess ill have to get mine running and then see, just a bit worried as ill be beating the shit out of it round the ring in Germany. Guess that will defo be a good test haha.

Ide love to take mine to the ring but it would either breakdown on the way there, or ide shaft it on the track haha

well last night i removed the camber shims from the rear, what a good choice that was!

i can safely say its worth getting them fitted and setup by a proffesional, i thought oh it cant be that hard but it messed with the 'toe in' something wicked and the car was so unstable in a straight line

i originally fitted them for clearence issues so to get around it with them removed i simply used my hydraulic floor jack and piece of wood to push the arches out, gained me about an extra 1.5cm each side and the wheels dont catch at all now

Another new toy :)

well after a 14 hour (yes 14 hours!) day yesterday i stripped and removed my engine, swapped everything over to my freshly rebuilt bottom end and then rebuilt and refiited it to the car along with a new clutch, new radiator, mocal oil cooler (pic below), new gearbox oil, new engine oil, new oil filter, new coolant...

so to say ime nackered today is an understatement!

just got to drive like an old woman while i run it in now :(

oil cooler position, right infront of the radiator, fits perfect
