yep your right..

maybe if you can't find good second hand ones you might be able to use front arches. Its basically what I was going to do but I managed to get 3 full rear 3/4 panels! :-D

fuck me that's savage

at least you were already planning a trip to the body shop though, just be aware that patern wings can some times be a very poor fit

Can't agree more! At work we get no end of cars that insurance companies get us to fit pattern bonnets, wings, bumpers, etc on, and on some of them the fit and quality is abysmal!

the fella at the bodyshop is sh*thot aparently so he should be able to beat the wings into a better shape :)

GRP wide arch kit ;)

My wings came from Mount panels, they were a half decent fit, still needed 1x sledghammer to get them into shape haha.

I'm sure Chris will have it all sorted, some rear arches wouldnt go a miss though!

I've just started taking my trims off as I'm getting it resprayed and after reading this i was shitting it a bit, but thankfully the rears were ok, fronts were a bit shit but i have some new wings for that!

I know how you feel, there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel, and i cant wait!

Well the plans were originally to sell her at the end of summer, but now this is getting done i honestly dont think i could ever part with her! Shes practicaly part of the family now :) so long term plans are to spend henious amounts of money on her and never get rid!

I've always gone through cars really quickly, but I've been bitten by the polo bug now and since i've poured loads of money into it already, i figure its a keeper :) might stick a g40 in it next year and do it right!

I bet she will come out lookin gleaming though! Will be worth it in the end

I'd be happy to see all that aids cut off my car to be honest. Seeing these pics makes me happy as you should be. Will be awesome when you have it back.

Keep this car mate. Screw an Mx5

yeah wings are a pain due to all the sealer thats down the back on the inside of the wing covering the 3 bolts..

Glad its getting sorted!

Oh and get your name down for the CP track day! :)
