well i took her for another 'spirited' drive around my local area a couple of nights ago and jesus it feels ridonkulously fast now!

will be even better when i get my decent wheels back on with some tyres that actually grip so i can get some more power down

i sooo cannot wait to get her insured again so i can get out and destroy those 11 plate bmw and audi drivers that think its just an old shed

Looks lovely. And for some reason, its the only round lighted 'loon that i like the round lights on (read the 'loon thread for my opinions on this!). I think its because of the tinted lights. Bloody love the colour too!

Not just yet been super busy recently!

Plus I've also discovered ime going to have to strip the head yet again! Becuase its still burning oil and the only explanation for it now can be worn valve guides :mad: had a quote through my cousins garage of £150, bargain

If it was at 140 to the fly on the old carbs I imagine it will be pretty impressive now! I'm finally starting this conversion but going to run it on the standard injectors, started ripping out my engine today. Can't wait to finish it after reading through this thread again :)

Well I'm building it in Huddersfield as I have a drive there

Fairly knowledged up on the whole procedure its just all the wiring for injectors and the front mount plate I'm unsure of. I noticed you haven't used the massive plate down to the power steering pump holes, how did you get around it? Also how vital is the late mk3 starter motor? They are a bitch to get hold of! :(

I just never bothered with that plate and I've never had a problem! Been running it like that for over a year aswell.

The mk3 starter is only needed if you want to run the lighter mk3 flywheel
