Swing your cams then ;)

pardon?

you want me too hang them from the roof and swing on them?

sorry.

Adjust your cam timing

apparantaly these don't like lots of revs, plus unless your cams are lairy as fuck i doubt it's worth revving it to 9k man

I've stupidly hit 9k a long time ago before doing all the lightening and balancing work and it was pulling all the way, and even now at 6500 its pulling like a mother fucker when it bounces off the limiter!

mad man

ride is sweet tho what is the spec on the engine??

cam'd

ported and polished head

750 bike carbs

retuned distributor

lightened and balanced crank

" " con rods

" " flywheel

and a few other bits and bobs

basically everything i can possibly do to still be N/A apart from map-able ignition

sorry.

i didnt think they would be worth it to be fair, what could i possibly gain from adjustable pulleys?

kinda move where the power is a bit sorta thing :)

You using a standard mk2 dizzy?

Saying that your setup is kinda rev enthused. You stil on hyd tappets? 9k may not be a good idea haha

i spent monday afternoon stood on the drive just looking at it thinking what can i do now?!?!

it works perfectly so i had nothing to do haha

uses no oil or coolant, disc conversion works a treat, suspension isnt as perfect as i would like but thats staying as it is until i work out spring rates for custom wound springs!

Haha it's mad aint it, always looking what to do next :)

so this morning i had the front suspension geometry all proffesionally setup, i paid £65 for the privilege but damn it was worth it, better than paying £15 to the local immigrants put it that way!

turns out i had positive camber on one side and negative on the other, nascar stylee ;)

one major problem was caused by fitting the g lader arb blocks, in that the arb was pushed well over the the passenger side which ruined all the geometry, so after setting that correctly the camber was set bang on to 0 degrees using the bonrath top mounts and then the tracking was set correctly, the car feels so smooth to drive and the steering feels tight (previously wandered at high speed)

also having this done has stopped the top mounts creaking and banging as they must have been under alot of stress!

i had this done by a company called allcar tyres and exhausts, they are an independant company and the lad really knew what he was talking about, put it this way, i live in leeds but traveled to Huddersfield after they were highly recommended by a friend

Wher'd you get the top mounts mate? I forgot to bid on a set I was watching! So pissed
