If itb's have such big gains, the g40 boys would be all over them. They tend not to though for some reason. There is the one I know of, but his is something else. From what i understand the itb's provide little adavantge with FI. I'm no guru mind. Would make for a good looking lump if nothing else!

Its never undrivable, you just have to adapt your driving for the extra power.

I vote either boost the afh or sell it and big power G

Man and if your looking at boosting itbs check Lances and my build

Lances has 260 bhp as Eric says from his 1.3 g40 motor on a gt28r I believe and I'm going k03 for a start on same itbs as lance but with my afh so hoping for more power as its bigger cc an more valves

Id say go for a nice safe G40 mate. Plenty of power to be had :-)

Definetly, but ime craving the whine of a charger! And i think the g40 will be the easiest way there? I dont have the fabrication skills to be converting an afh, atleast i dont think i do...

Nah, just go for a nice safe G40 lump. Maybe rebuild it etc, with a few choice mods you can get decent power.

tbh, i cant see why you would ever need more power in a polo than what a nicely modded G40 gives.

A g40 with mild modifications (130/140) is a right laugh, 160/170 bhp is plenty... Its the way a G gives you the power that is insane. could have a 160bhp AFH and a 130bhp G40 would feel a fuck load quicker. I know, I've been in both to compare
