Definetly, but ime craving the whine of a charger! And i think the g40 will be the easiest way there? I dont have the fabrication skills to be converting an afh, atleast i dont think i do...

What fabrication skills? The only fabricating is the charger mount and you could always pay someone to make that. You've rebuilt this engine so many times that rebuilding it for boost would be a walk in the park

It's down to you tho, if you want a nice easy bolt in conversion go G40, if you want to challenge yourself a bit then look more into boost a 16v

Well her future has now been decided...

She is currently sat on my neighbours drive until i can get her into my garage, as my mate is currently breaking his 106 quicky from it!

Once thats out of the way i can pull the polo in and get her high up on axel stand so that i can can strip her to a bare shell! Theres plenty of rust that needs attention amongst a very long list of other jobs

I have now started taking the engine apart to sell!

I will strip apart the bottom end to sell the blueprinted crank and rods if needed but i would prefer to sell the whole bottom end as it will just take up space for forever more if i dont!

Well i am slowly building a long list of things to do, and i have decided today that this list will include a few fibreglass bits from PhilJ

I am just abit too pre occupied with motocross bikes and playing in the beemer at the moment to be bothered doing anything with the polo!

Makesure you ask Phil J about the fibreglass panels as I've heard some people have asked for them and he has got back to them saying he can no longer get them etc

Ah ok, to be honest its going to be one of those long term things, i wont be buying some for quite a long time, price being the main reason! But i have lots on the to do list before that stage :)

remove steering rack and suspension etc

gt/g40 steering damper

underseal arches and undercar

clean and repaint engine bay

remove seats and interior to tidy up and remove excess weight

new door seal (leaking)

weld captive nuts to seat frames

powdercoat seatframes

remove, inspect and repaint fuel tank

braided fuel lines

custom braided rear brake hoses

repair all rust

weld in cage mounts

strip wheels again to repolish barrels and repaint centres

new front tyres
