Whats wrong with going eaton?!

I've already done lots of reading up and know the pros and cons, ime looking for reliable big boost and i dont think a seriously ported g40 charger is the way to go

why is it a fail. eatons are bloody awesome.

Have you thought about 1w turbo? Kiz was selling his for a lot less than it would cost you to gather together. Just a thought as the pistons alone are £600 and iirc you need 5 other people to buy with you (unless your buying 2nd hand). Look forward to whatever though, shame you weren't happy with the Afh after all the work

I loved both my eaton Mp45's

Dont have much online, but if you do get a eaton the pulley is a taper fit and if you want to change the boost i can recommend a company who make these.

They replace the existing nose pulley with a utility piece that you can bolt different sized pulleys to depending on what you want - i had one for track and one for every day use. - about 3 psi difference but made it much more liveable day to day.

Also spinning slower was better on the ears, as it could be very loud - which i kind of liked.

i have decided against the turbo route to be honest, i need a supercharger in my life :)

and yes it is a shame about the afh really but i was just never happy with it and had totaly lost faith in it :(

And you could always supercharge that 1W engine you know

Could always powder coat your fuel tank too while your getting other bits done then it should be really well protected

Not really sure about how much boost yet! Ime still to do abit more research about that bit yet :)

And yeh i will be powdercoating the tank, along with basically every other non consumable part i remove!

G40 gearboxes have a limit, heavily tuned 1Ws do too but theirs is higher.

He is going g40 eaton not 1W well ATM that's what he is thinking

Because people go turbo as the low end grunt from chargers tear the boxes to pieces lol.

You could build up a BCB block like me then straight fit an 02J/02K box or something

Or would you consider taking a deposit and then full payment at the end of next month when i get paid+my bonus :) as i only just got my wages but i have the gfs birthday, dads birthday and holiday to be paying out for aswell as sooooo much other stuff! Haha
