well i finally got the rear interior of the car sorted and neatened up today! :D

vinyl wrapped the sub box in camo as its in full view

fitted my new Fli integrator 6's into my 'custom' rear door card things

retrimmed all the left over panels in the carpet i have been using for the false floor etc

fitted dynamat where necessary

and tbh, minus some seats (unless i find anything that takes my fancy) the interior is dare i say it...finished?

ill upload some pics as soon as i get chance :D

so long as you have another car to use for a couple of months then its fairly easy to get on with, would have been done farrr sooner if i didnt have to wait for payday 3 times :)

i've had a think since i last put this comment and realised i should stop being such a fadge and get on with it lol. i have another polo to drive, I'm on decent money for a 17 year old in an apprenticeship so it wouldn't be that hard... i hope :-)

wow this is cool! sell it to me ;)

got a 6n polo, on superlites.. with alfa front leathers, tartan head lining and stripped rear... got a few ideas in pipeline. was thinking of doing a 1.416v on bike carbs which is what attracted me to looking at this thread, but been waying up pros and cons to doing it. still undecisive. yeah i dont live/work far from there.. near beeston co-op, if you know where that it?

i bet they do, iv got a mate with a KA van with a 1.7 puma engine on jenvey throttle bodies. sounds the nuts!!! hopefully ill see yours around leeds some time and ill follow you for a listen lol the engine swap i can do easy enough as I'm a mechanic got a work shop at my disposal. just unsure when it gets to te carb set up! specialise in landrovers but we dont see many old carb cars now.

if i do go down engine swap root any pointers on the carb side would be a massive help!

jesus i bet that goes like s**t of a stick!

with the carb stuff, its just as easy to have a good read through all (and i mean all) the guides on the website that you can find for doing the conversion, it makes a big difference, and then just ask questions when you get stuck, it was my first time I've done anything as major as this and ide say it was relatively 'easy'

sounds good mate, think ill have to source a donor car in new year and get stuck in!!!
