umm i think most shows have concours duck, stanford hall and bvf normally have the best examples i think, although i think the concours lot are a bunch of nice people personally, they are pure anally retentive, which is why i think it would be nice to win it, and then just mod the car the way you want it, not simply just the way vw intended.

and haha I'm fecking knackered after cleaning the car today and it was only a half arsed effort from the start. i rue the day my dad ever gave me the complimentary cleaning kit he got with his jag.

you will adore it mate honestly, even in standard form they are a feckin hoot to drive. lhd will be fun when overtaking, but its nice when you have powaaaaah under your foot, i had a 55bhp mk2 polo lhd, and that was trouser stainingly exciting overtaking on country roads. double danger, and std mk2s were made for overtaking even in rhd form.

btw the brakes should be eons better on this, than rhd mk1s, as you will have a servo and brake mc attached directly to the brake pedal, rather than an unsightly linkage bar in the bay.
