fuel tank replaced

4 new wheel bearings

2 new shockers

new fan belt

new cam belt

new head gasket

new rocker gasket

new top mounts

still got some welding at the back to do

in my boot you will find on any journey

spare wheel

trolley jack

spider wrench

my small tool kit

spare belts

spare dizzy cap and rotor arm

ht leads

spare brake cylinders

and a full set of fuses

just in case so you see there is a long road ahead of you bud make the best of it and enjoy it bit of elbow grease and a haynes will see you go far

i know itll be worth it in the end, it just seems to mock me most the time. need to get it to work so ican have some experienced mechanics telling me how to fix it.

i swear i payed to much for it and one think after another goes wrong!! hasnt bin driven in bout 3weeks coz the aterrnater has gone pay pay is nearly here so i can by a new one so i thing yeah lets giv him a nice clean, and now another bloody flat tyre!!! pushed him back like a foot, bang nail in tyre!!! these bits werent even on the list of things that i need to do to it now there priortity the rest has to wait even longer,

cant even start spending money on any thing fun coz bloody maintanace keeps punching me back down as soon as moneys saved,

iv only bin driving like 4months any one think that £2400 was to much for a 1.4 8v 2001 match 6n2, 72k

replaced both wish bone controller arms

alternarter has gone

replaced all wipeers

main beam bulbs

rear bulbs

will be my second tyre

brake pads need replaceing

its got three lil dents that need pushing out

and lots of lil scratches

i payed 100 more than you for the same car although my one got serviced with vw parts when i got it and got a new cambelt all included and a warranty too which i used to get an oil leak fixed. mine was from a dealership which meant the price was obviously higher than what you get on pistonheads and ebay and the like.

But i haven't had anywhere near as many problems as you all I've had to pay for is one sidelight bulb and I've had it since January. Actually saying that my EPC light keeps coming on so it could be time for a brakelight switch but he lights work so ill leave it for now.

anyway i look at all my friends corsas and fiesta etc which may have cost lest but most of them are very unreliable and plus they're not a vw so in other words they're crap.
