My Pleasure mate!

Quick Update Folks: My Nitrous Bottle started pissing out when we tried to fill it up..not good!

Found out the problem though, the thread cut into the bottle nut that screws onto the bottle valve had a slightly different pitch to the bottle thread!..

Ordered my new bottle nut today so hopefully you'll see some on road videos soon! ;)

Been a while since i updated this..

Took the nitrous out a couple of days ago and for those of you who have never tried it lol..

All i can say is OHHHH WEEE! lol

I am currently getting the car ready for santa pod on the 24th October..

I am experimenting with different heating methods for the bottle without spending £150 on a bottle heater..Once the bits are delivered i will post up and show you my results..

:D

Peace for now!

So basically i set out to find a way to heat the nitrous bottle whilst at the pod with out spending £150 on a bottle heater ;) and without using a butane torch :p

Figured this might help anyone that has or is planning nitrous..

So the bottle at 18 deg C @ 650psi

My method changes it to 900psi @ 54 deg C (Which is the recommended for nitrous)

So basically all you need is..

Neoprene Wrap (£10) and a Heat In Click Shoulder Pad (£20)

Awesome stuff! Have been thinking about doing a home brew nitrous setup myself, have never seen it done to a polo before. Good work

I would love to get involed in the technical conversation thats going on, but i haven't got a clue about NOS. So i am just going to say.........

Looking good mate... ;)

Indeed. But this shows a step by step. And its just interesting to read. What solenoids and jets did you use btw?

  • Author

The solenoids are cold fusion and the jets are from a company called Exup Racing..
