i know and they claimed its top speed was 258mph, clearly not

Was a good episode, just watched it :)

The senna tribute was brill, Shame F1 isnt the same anymore. Would loved to watch it back then!

was a good show, nice slot for senna.and i used to watch the f1 back then as a lad lol

jeremys sight of a burka woman made me piss myself

it most likey got edited out of the repeat

i'm taking the polo on that test ring 8-)

Toureg bit I found a bit boring, some nice shots but pointless overall.

Cameron and Tom bit was better than I was expecting, Tom is a bit weird and he has some strange body language.

Veyron bit was pretty exciting.

The Senna tribute was immaculate, what a man and a racing driver.

Tom is a bit weird and he has some strange body language.

Yeah, UFO cults can do that to people.

TG is hilarious but it could do with some more actual journalism in it tbh. It doesn't need to go all Fifth Gear yawnfest on us, but it's just getting silly. What was that crap about with the Touareg?

Best episode in years, I thought.

And amused they picked up on Mr Peugeot at Citroen. It raised a wry smile when the release came out last week :)

Technically, though, it'd be more amusing if his name was Charles Renault. Citroen being part of PSA (Peugeot Societe Anonyme) which is a family-run business, started by the Peugeots. According to the release he's had numerous other senior international roles within the country before moving here, he could even be part of the original family.

Sorry, just a nerdy 2PW.

Come on tom cruise on 2 wheels round gambon sweeeet!

last nights was good, british super cars!! ended up in my neck of the woods at the tvr factory! and the golf on p-slots!

Thank god they didn't do anything more to the Golf than open the boot and put the seats down. I was on the edge of my seat ready to swear at the TV!

Rememeber Top Gear rules - if people complain about X,Y,Z, another X,Y,Z will be destroyed in the next episode (recent example the Robin Reliants). I'd hate to think of the snowball of VW destruction created if they had hurt the Golf and people had complained.

Edit: But what the hell is a 6 episode series all about? I felt it was just getting started.

haha i was sitting there plainly wondering.... would make a change to kill something like that... Too many other things that are quite cool getting killed... theres loads of golfs.... One wont matter...

Great note to end the series on with all those beautiful cars in the old factory!

6 episode series is pretty dam short tho, they used to be 9 episodes per series.

Few notes from the top gear team on peoples views especially to previous series regarding the too much cocking about and little about cars they seem to of noticed & this series did seem a little more serious and a few car related things.

i thought this week was pretty funny,

I need to pull over, Forr errrrrrrrrrr, Picnic

For once i didnt see what was coming next when they did the challeges, Blowing up the GSI, filling the Xr2i (Think it was that) with water :), And soo glad they left the golf alone!

Shame about the AX GT but it was funny. Best thing for the Astra GSi,though its a waste of a red top. My XR3i sunroofs never leaked (although one spat rust flakes in my eyes),but then i didn't go into a car wash with them open..

It was an important subject, and they covered it well, but i think the earlier hatches were generally 'better' than the late roadsters.

The Senna tribute documentary the previous week bored me. I used to watch Senna,Mansell etc and yes F1 was far more exiting then. But it was still yawnsville.

I didn't find it at all boring.

However, i didn't even know about him really if I'm honest. Before my time! So it was pretty interesting.

Senna documentry: :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

The only time hammond has ever made me laugh was when he said "errrrrrrrrrr Picnic!"

They should blow up one vauxhall a programme, serisously hate them!

Shame about the xr3i, although at least it wasn't an S2 Turbo!

picnic quote was the best and "iv parked on an oil patch" glad they didnt ruin the golf though 6 episode series was to short aswell,

anyone know when the next series is due I'm guesing winter time ?

and there was me thinking clarksons observations about the number plate anagrams was the most amusing part

yeah I laughed out loud at that bit! The rest was pretty boring I thought.

I thought the Stig stunts were pretty amusing. Always totally chilled style, whatver happens to the car.

love the fact that he nearly beat a TVR, Lotus and a JH in a diesel 205

i thought this week's was amazing!
