^^ Yeah they fitted decent front suspension,but as if the subframe didn't add enough weight VW then strapped power steering to them too

Europe's 6n1 GTi was probably better than the 6n2 though,apart from the rust.

The french have finally lost it too,but at least they once had it. And so good,for so long - no picture,but i put forward the AX GTi, 106 1.6 XSi, 106 1.3 Rallye, 205 1.4 XS, 205 1.3 Rallye and Clio 1.7 16v and Williams-1 as being seriously fine examples of fwd drivers cars. Thanks to the war-dodgers for those!

Plus the legendary 205 1.9 16v GTi-6 although the factory never made one themselves. Id be tempted if i had a rare Gentry land on my drive,though the 205 1.9i's standard auto box obviously wasnt popular.

My fave would be the LUPO GTI, amazing stuff :)
