Hi Phil what would be you are recommendations for my aea 1.6 8v on twin weber 40's the cars just to used on the strip, with the odd drive on the road testing

    No other parts needed, but you should replace the tappets, camshaft and distributor oil seals, cambelt and ideally waterpump while its all apart.

    Standard 1.6 engine? IE no headwork or raised compression I'd probably just go for a 268 personally.
