Bienn you legend thats the car I've been looking for!

Got a bit excited there but dont think it actually is the same car.

^^For me, that doesn't count. The challenge in keeping as much standard as possible and working with/around that. Welding bodies to frames is 'cheating' imo.

Exactly :D

static - no chance il win as i wont give up my air- but I'm gunna throw on a couple of 13s this weekend and see how low mine is, i think I've got a chance of toppling you from that perch ben.

wont be for long as i love my porsche split rims to much to sell and get 13s

Did you ever do this Kiz? Top Ben from his perch and all that? :-)

x2.

I could easily make a polo sit on it's sills. But you wouldn't be able to drive it anywhere, so whats the point? :|

That's a little different, the above, and Rolo's car are driveable but the point is to make standard car lowered with the body intact. To me that's what defines a car, it's chassis and body panels. Once you start chopping and changing it becomes neither of the originals, but something new. It's a little like the mk1 vr6 turbo (right?) that was actually a mk1 golf with polo body.

Agreed.

Same goes with engine/powertrain conversions for me. Putting an old shell on a Golf/S3/R32 platform means it's actually not really that car anymore :(

to bump an old thread and update on the beelo - it's now been chopped up and scrapped.

It'll be in this months PVW if you want a read - got bought by some scenester who made a gimpy video thats doing the rounds.

Yeah Saf I spotted a pic of it thats its going to be in next months PVW.... Real shame I remember these been for sale before Ad even had it right nice motor :sorry:

i didnt think it would ever get legal so I'm not suprised its been scrapped. epic motor though - loved it.

Seen the pic on facebook! Why the fuck did he chop it up!!??

i have no idea! seams an odd thing to do!

It was already chopped up to put on the different chassis, he could still put it together I bet if he wanted, I think he was selling it all off though in bits

Fuck knows! I would have bought it for sure!

he had it up for sale for £500 for a while but as there were no takers I think he sold the beetle chassis and chopped up the polo shell

It was up on eBay for like 24h or something! That's the only time I saw it.

Where are people seeing these videos of this beelo? Please don't say facebook...

What's the best coilies for a 89/90 bready?

Just seen this on facebook
