Lets see some more breadies!

Mine looks fairly stanced but not that low, can't get them very low on wide wheels, 80mm on 13x6s [et15] with 55 profile tyres, flared rear arches, no silly stretched tyres and the tread sitting just in the arch at the front, just had a load of archwork done and a respray when I go bugjam I'll get some photo's as it stands now.

Would go lower but to get anywhere round Beds and Cambs there's so many speedbumps and me exhaust scrapes on everything, even get sparks thrown out going down back roads!!!

That's before the spray or proper archwork, think it's about as low as I could go for a daily, going to maybe try to get the front down another 10-15mm though :]

drivers steering arm resting on the brake servo..

passengers comfortably tapping on the chassis.

anyone with coilovers able to top this yet?

Coilies or not, there is only so low a mk3 will go before the chassis is being raped by the road, its not actually the suspension that limits early polo lowness, its the road

Not the best angle to show its lowness but its the only decent shot I have i have of it on the powertechs

Jon I still fucking love that mk3 8-)

Ooooft, that looks beautiful guy, the things I'd do for those powertechs....

Surely that is true for all vehicles.

here is mine, coilies of course.. no helpers in the front, can go lower but its not physically possible with the roads by me and i already have to go the long way round to work... hits cats eyes too, so much so that I've bent my gear linkage and is now rubbing on my exhaust manifold.. its a work out to change gear now :p

Yeah but some cars handle massive lows much better than others. With the early polo's there is a lot hanging low ready to smash the road. I've had cats eyes clip my gear selector and knock it out of gear and the sump hits everything

Phayth can you even see over the steering wheel?

this bready makes me want one myself so baaaad :unibrow:

:crybaby:

hahaha cheers fella :).. still a long way to go until its how i want it! :D

il make him a new rear engine mount if he wants to raise the engine.

id be lower on mine if i wasnt using 15" wheels. i can proper deck it on 13"s

How low is that roughly? Doesn't look much lower than a mk3 down 80mm IMO. Does look good though!!!

Since the respray and arch work.

I wanna see some proper low polo's! That have been done correctly, so they don't hit everything and end up in the scrapyard in the sky! :'[

mine before i started again

I've got bits for homebrew coilies... gonna make it more ridiculous than my white one for a couple of weeks! :unibrow:

Reverse rake

Ben I've got a few plans in my mind of how I can get it lower and still driveable but there are more important things to do on it like finally getting round to doing the 1.6 swap and sorting out the body work

Not as bad as my reverse rake at action!

Now pics of the front you fanny lol!

Blatantly loaded up on the way to poloshow or somewhere haha!

you got me - there was a block in there

Heres the front tyres look big but theyr 175/50/13s....
