3dr R-reg Polo MkIII for sale

Featured Replies

1997 VW Polo 3 dr (Mk III) 1.4 CL

Just done 55,000 miles

Has service history dating back to Nov 2008 (When I first purchased the car)

Taxed and MOT’d until end of Oct this year

Good little car – cheap to run and insure

During my ownership, has had services and recently had an oil change with oil, air and fuel filters put on.

Rear quarter panel on passenger side heavily dented by hit-and-run driver when parked overnight and has usual minor scratches/dings for a car this age (See pictures). Clutch and brake pads will need replacing soon also.

Apart from these recent clutch and brake issues, it’s been a great car to drive. Perfect for a learner/new driver who’s more concerned with cheap insurance and fuel economy (recently did Reading to Torquay and back on £25 of petrol) rather than looks. Alternatively a good project (or donor car) for any mechanic worth his/her salt as I would sort the damage myself but I don’t have access to a workshop and am not a mechanic to boot.

The mileage is good for a car that age and would like to see someone get some more use out if it.

Sold as seen.

Would like to get £500 out of it as the car has plenty of life left in it. Let me know what you think.
