mk2 polo ranger

Featured Replies

the time has come to sell up one of my cars till after christmas. and my clio is better through the winter.

Its the special edition mk2 polo ranger and this is a good example.

The car is standard and have not done anything to it except from put a jvc headunit in it(not wired in)due to the original not working. The car is down as one owner from new and only has 86,000 on the clock and that very low considering my clio is is 10yrs younger and near same milage. As stated above this needs to go as I'm back at uni soon and wont have the time to tinker through the winter and parents wont be happy. i haven't driven this much but I've done a few long distance drives in it. Including a 5 hr straight drive with only stopping to get a drink. car did not miss a beat.

so to the spec and details of the car:

Engine is the 1.3 55bhp engine, it is standard and i haven't messed about with it.and only 86000 miles on clock

had a new exhaust, fuel tank, brakes and pads and 5 brand new continental tyres just near 2month ish ago.

interior: everything is clean and tidy, the door cards have been covered in leather.

it has the original "sports seats" but the front 2 have patches over rips, i wanted to retrim the original seats in leather ass they are rather comfy.everything else is clean and tidy,

at the mo the rear seats have been taken out due to having bmx in back. i didnt want to mark all the backs of seats or rip anything.

exterior:

comes with the roof bars

steelies sorayed black to give the car a cleaner look.

paint is in great condition for age with no laquer peeling etc.

there are a few minor parking dents which is to be expected.

there is t and t on the car, mot is till march 2011 and tax is till end of august but its 60 quid to tax.

good bits: totaly standard

1 owner from new

low milage

never misses a beat

is rather nippy aswell

bad bits:

the exhaust was not fitted properly and rattles around inderneath, it was fitted before i took it on but is a new exhaust. I thnk it mat be loose on a joint aswell as its huskier than i should normally be, i haven't got axle stands or anything to be able to sort it out otherwise i would. That is the only bad bit i can think about.
