X Reg Vw Polo 6n2 Gti

Exterior: Polished Red with Gloss Black roof and Gloss Black wing mirrors, stubby aerial, Performance VW, Down N Out, Grim Reaper & OCD clean stickers and private pressed plates

Interior: Standard seats and dash etc with Alpine head unit with ipod connection and Infinity 6x9's (getting updated!), Alpine front and rear door card speakers, Hawaillan Hula Lei on rear view

Wheels/Tyres/Brakes: Ronal LS 7.5j x 15 with 175/50/15 Kumho's (Rear wheels are now spaced 5mm, not in pics),

EBC Drilled discs and shortly to be sporting red or green stuff pads depending on what i fancy (as little brake dust as possible!) and chrome and black vw dust caps

Suspension: Lowered 50mm front, 60mm rear on TA Technics coilovers (just enough to handle the shocking roads around here, but lower on show days!)

Engine: 125bhp 16v GTi, New gearbox, clutch and battery

Other: Toad CAT1 alarm with automatic secure roll up windows and interior sensors

Any comments welcome or ideas on where to go next, like i say I'm probably going to put it out another 5mm on the back, up to 10mm, and i got some new pads in the pipeline, also wouldnt mind some new filters and bits for the engine, if you see me at a show or driving about then give us a flash or a honk!!!

Hope this helps, Pete

Very nice

I'm not really a fan myself of the black, but apart from that it looks good, and really clean!

Have you thought about de wipering the rear, and maybe painting the back of the rear badge gloss black to go with the roof and mirrors?

yeah i thought of de-wipering the back but was having trouble finding a blanking plug...any ideas anyone?? Also was toying with the idea of going red inserts on the back badge but maybe gloss black would look good to....

cheers

You can pick up a blanking grommet from Halfords to de-wiper, 25mm I think

cheers karin, ill have a look later on my way home from work, although with this weather having a rear wiper doesnt seem like a bad idea!! All this rain will do nothing for the potholes that have only just been repaired in the area and have taken a good 6 months for the council to sort out.......rubbish! Any idea on what to do with the engine bay? As most will know, the 6n2's all had a fancy cover put over the engine to "keep it tidy", but it leaves very little room to modify or make unique. Apart from getting the standard chrome oil caps etc is there anything any one has done that is a bit different from the norm?

NICE! Wish I painted my roof now. That vinyl wrap ain't what they say it is! Or I'm no good at vinyl wrapping :doubt:

have the arches been rolled?

Very nice, any interior pics? a sharan badge and de wiper would do a lot for the rear I reckon. The wheels suit it down to the ground.
