Windows not working properly

Hi,

My windows have not been working properly in my 6n2 gti since I had my car valeted last weekend. I think they must have gotten water into the switches or something but the 'one touch' has stopped working for both sides and I cannot put the passenger side down from the driver side switch, only put it up.

Anyone had any experience of windows not working as they should on mk5 polos and how did they resolve it?
