I'm from holland and I'm for my study in Lincoln.

I brought my polo with me because I'm adicted to it, and I realy want to vistit a nice english VW show.

Is this show worth to drive 2 hours for? (no disrespect, just asking)

Or shall I wait for a bigger one, that is nearlier by Lincoln, if those are coming this season?

Nice to have someone from holland over in our shores. this isnt a show, the show season has all but finished now for the year, the next i think is dubfreeze in february.

if you fancy the drive out, there are some good roads to travel on the way here (woodhead pass or snakes pass over the peak district) and there are friendly faces at the meet who will be well buzzin to see a dutch person with a polo comes from miles out, thats pure dedication to the cause.

me and a few friends probably wont be attending, as were doing an engine conversion in my mk2, but yeh if you get along for it, just say hello to everyone, they are cracking bunch and will make you feel welcome!

If you want to get out and experience some of the roads it would be worth it!

It varies, depending on the weather and which different groups come down!

R32 meet is at the same time, and apparently there will be a corsa club there. As well as the usual people.

I'll take a wild guess and say 50+ cars?

Dont hold me to that though!

have you looked to see if there is a lincoln meet?

think some of the air cooled lot are coming down as well

its up to scotty but the meet is usually the last sunday of the month

As long as people still turn up il keep posting up lol.

Was thinking the 3rd Sunday next month as it's the USA car meet so if people chicken out and the numbers start droping off over the winter there wil still be cars to look at.. What u guys think.
