The time has come to sell my polo me thinks ,its been a grate little summer project for me and i had grate fun doing it , but now need a bigger car :(

the car is a 1992 j plate polo coupe with 1ltr with 85k on the clock , but now is a 1.4 aex on r6 bike carbs all fully jetted and set up at a RR running 85.9bhp

since i have owened it it has had lots of work done to it :-

phil j 60/40 sus

new green stuff pads

new disks

new clutch

new head gasket and all seals replaed

new valve springs

new gaskets exhaust and inlet

new time belts and water pump

new oil and filter

4 branch exhaust and full ss full system (poweflow)with de cat

short rasio gear box(same as 8p)

78k aex 1.4 engine with shortend sump convert

full boot build with soney 12'' sub and dub audio amp and inface 6-9s all carpeted and seats removed (will get seats in the sale tho)

alpine head unit

gt front seats (will get standered cl seats to)

car is shown with ats classics £1700 or gti mk1 golf alloys £1400

i think thats all i have done there might be more ,

body work in good condition 4 age few dents here and there , only rusty bits are on the a pillers but have been treated and painted

car has allways been cleaned and polished every week (I'm a car valet :) )and has always had what ever it needs regardless of cost ,

has cost me just over 2600 to do all of the work to the car so I'm looking at offers around £1400 with out ats £1700 with as its only done around 3k at the most since convurting

what do u insure it as if it has bike carbs? might sound silly but its worth asking

I'm insured through adrin flux and i just told them the mods as they are ,

ie

lowered

full stanless with 4 branch

1.4 golf engine on bike carbs

striped out back seats

bucket seats

and all she really wanted to know was it a gti golf or standed lol ,and tbh the insurance went down when i changed the engine as they see me less as a chav and more of a enthusiast

it went from £1040 down to £870

just be honest and they should help ok

ohh ps ,yes every thing is ensured proper but i haven got around to the log book yet so its still down as a 1lt

try a qwote , the main mods i have listed on my prviose post and see what they say it might not be that bad ,chris knotts on the forum are quite cheap but cant insure no back seats ,but adrin flux can
