Dads being a idiot about it not having an air bag. Even though I'm now not running a passenger one so my drivers one wont actually work

Most older cars don't have airbags...just say that haha.

Tell him about seatbelt tensioners, if hes that nieve to think a bag in your car is going to help then he might go for the whole seat belt tensioner will stop you from hitting the wheel.

He'll soon get over it, he did when I lowered it so it couldn't drive.

And thanks, Its cost me £250 so far, that's with Door cards, but I've given him a few other bits as well to do. :)

Also, finally got new rear top mounts, But the guy at the breakers somehow had no idea what bumpstops were. even after explaining and asking him to bring a coilover which he didn't do to the desk he still looked confused.

So need to source some in the next few days quick!.

Best thing to do is remove spring, drop down to ride height you want and measure length of coilover from top spring seat to bottom spring seat, remove shock replicate measurements from on the car with ratchet strap or heman strength and measure shock rod thats sticking out of the coilover body up to the spring seat. that way you know how much bumpstop you need to sit right at your ride height Not that I've done that but thats an idea....

Regarding your fixie, i assume you skid stop to brake, its so much easier with straps......you don't have to put all your weight over the front end :-D

Ahhhh dude, you need to start practising, its so much cooler being able to not run a brake. And it's kind of what fixed gear is all about, you're fixed in and have to use your legs, it adds an element of fear almost, which makes it so much more fun haha. Got anymore details and pics of your bike?? What cranks you running and what ratio do you use?
