6n polo wout stay running

polo died the other morning on me way to work..
got a new battery and changed the alternator

was driving it yesterday seemed fine was driving perfect

drove down the town this morning and she died again

waited 5 mins and it started again but wouldnt stay running

then wouldn start atal.. got a jump got about 500m then it died just toed it home

anyone able to shed some light on my problem..??

update.... car is running now the alternator fuse had gone (would never have known it was a fuse if not for kwijibo_coupe thanks..!)

but its misfiring now think it could be a dodgy lead on the 3rd... gettin a new one today, but is there antin else it could be.. have done the timing after replacing the dizzy.. its sittin at 1000...!!
