When i dropped my car off and got a quote i was like 'yeah want all my bumpstrips smoothed' etc etc.

and the guy who i went with was talking about his smoothed badge recess on the boot because it has sank a little bit and he compared the recess size to mine (Because mine didn't have a badge on)

Picked it up today, all my bumpstrips are gone, but he smoothed the badge recess too.... which i really did not want, if anything, i'd want the handle done, i guess i'll have to stick my badge on without the recess...

buttt, i did get it done for free, but still, absolutely gutted.

If the rear badge recess has been smoothed, then I say leave the badge off. I know you've just ordered one but I'd leave it off for a while and think about it.

With the exception of the bit that you've pointed out, which I know you'll get sorted, everything else looks top and I like it a lot!

Update, a lot happier with the finish of the spraying now after a good heavy wax all over and started fitting my GTi Splitter today

They, are similar to my thoughts on your polo Alex.

I know you're not happy with it Prox and you're entitled to feel that way, however that looks pretty good to me and I'm not such a fan of smoothed cars in this way. The splitter has helped finish off the front and spacers on the rear will help with proportions too. It's not fubar by any means
