No point in going to the expense of buying new tyres now, coming up to winter, save the money and buy something better for when summer comes to play.

I'd also consider delaying the fitting of coilovers till after the bad weather due to potholes, and salt eating away at them, however it's your choice.

The big tyres should do you well over winter, and even the £50-odd you'd spend on slimmer ones, is just money toward dem Rotas

Fitted the coilovers on saturday, just to half way down to be safe.

Adjusted the camber this morning as it was like / \.

Took it out on a little drive with my mini g60's, scrubbed like fuck on roundabouts etc :\.

Took them off and put the original steelies back on with some VW trims, looks pretty sick tbf, shame about the g60's though

i miss driving a lowered car and now i have that proper bumpy ride instead of the hard-spring ride.

Only one photo so far, but more to come and more lows to come :)

also this was before i drove it so unsettled, but still

To be fair it might take a couple of weeks for it to settle in and then you might find G60's dont scrub so much? You know it wants to be dragging its ass along the tarmac!

So as said before, no more mini G60's, up for sale soon, so rocking the standard steelies WITH Wheeltrims, i think they don't look that bad, just a bit skinny :)!

Looking better on the trims IMO! Just be patient, let them settle then slam it. Thought about banded steels? Might suit this quite well

As said, sell the 14s and get something else. Looks better with the trims etc though

Also, suprised its rubbing man? Might have to play with the camber every so slightly. Mines down a hell of a lot more than that and it never rubs even with a full car (it is a 6n though )
