That is a shame....it's not a write off. Ugly awful things those Corsa D's, tell him to try harder next time. Joking aside, paying £4.5k to insure anything is stupid. I'd rather walk.

Who you're with: admiral (fully comp)

What you're paying (monthly):n/a

What you're paying (yearly): 1340

What you drive:MK2 beadvan C 1l 1990

Any mods (declared of course): changed seats, non-standard paint job, lowered suspension (40mm) and alloy wheels (i stressed that they were cheap)

How old you are: 18

Any NCB: none*

Any named drivers: my mum (brought the price down by about £500!)

i don't have no claims bonus, but i told them that my last insurers (footman james) sent me a letter saying that they culdn't give me a no claims bonus due to being a classic policy, but stated that i hadn't claimed.

i literally thought i was gonna have to sell my car, i wasn't getting any quotes under £3500 until i went to admiral... give them a try!

and that also includes roadside cover

Any NCB: no!

Any named drivers:mum(mileage 12,000miles)gran(12,000miles) and aunt(12,000) and me as the main driver(2,000 miles)lol

The co-op tracker insurance restricts me from driving my car past 11pm until i think 5 am, the tracker is very un-accurate its seems to not recognize I'm going quickish around corners, its hates mini roundabouts i think it must think i am doing hand breaks turns lol..my score for safe driving is about 4 and no matter how fast i try to drive my score isn't badly affected, i am fully comp, with breakdown cover and key cover...in august this year when i renew i intend on switching to normal insurance from the co-op and also plan to get a 1.4 6n2 instead with the insurance quoted around £1200 fully comp again!

also i get £65 for driving well every 90days... apparently! lol
