but still going reallly low on big wheels is pretttty gay.

it's got to look right.

Don't think he does I'm sure he's talking bout his G40 6n

And I'm sure he'll pull it off he always does!

many incidents of the gti underneath being battered I've decided to go for the high look on my 9n 8-)

that depends if your up for a challenge or not, it takes more work to get a car on bigger wheel's to a ride height that could be considered low, but when it works, it works well. i've got 16's on my jetta and although it's not scrapping the sub frame off the floor, it has lost it's front bumper while reversing a few times

i need smaller tires on it really tho to get it any lower as they are pretty chunky :disgust:

wouldnt say it was low,

but has got ok stance :)

Is it on Coilies ? The Phil J ones ? Please say yes ...

The 2 go hand in hand tbh. I'm yet to see a car that's not dickhead low with 'stance'

But stance is what you make it.

you cant actually get any lower than my old mk3, it was on the floor, and dragged through most of what hangs down.

raised engine 40mm or so cant remember.

in the end it was sat on the petrol tank, the filler neck was gettin pushed out of the petrol flap, hahaha

this picture was when it was 1st finished, it had 4 weeks of hell. the more you drag the lower it went, hahaha

Foxie's old car http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?...=104309&hl=

wonder how many times you are front bumper got ripped off, i had it constantly on my gti, the lip spoiler used to catch and rip the whole front bumper off

have a pic here somewhere of my 6n2 when it was seriously low lol, not as low anymore as i wore through the sub frame, had the fix the exhaust every weekend, wrecked the anti roll bar and managed to wreck a sump, also the drivers side driveshaft has worn down from it rubbing off the chassis leg lol....shit irish roads :( looks awesome but just not practical for a daily driver! will get a pic up when i find it...

nah i'm cheating mate, it's got my hydraulics fitted

you could get it pretty close to this sort of ride height with the mk1 golf philj coilovers tho i recon, the problem is my engine is sitting on the floor which is fine for me because i don't have to drive it that low but on a static drop you would. still there are ways around every thing, engine lift, chassis notch, run the fuel pipes through the car, exhaust would need tweeking to sit as close to the bottom of the car as you can get it. just depends how big your balls are
